Melani Gordon is a seasoned entrepreneur and business coach with a rich history of leadership and innovation. As a partner at Evolution, she has dedicated the last decade to mentoring over 200 startup founders through renowned platforms like Techstars and Founders First Capital. Her comprehensive coaching style extends to CEO coaching, co-founder alignment, team off-sites, peer groups, and sales training programs, all designed to foster success in business as well as personal well-being.

Before her current role, Melani was the CEO of TapHunter, a company she developed from a nascent startup into a dominant force in management and marketing software for bars, restaurants, and local businesses. Under her leadership, TapHunter assisted over 5,000 organizations, including prominent names like Lagunitas Brewing Company and Whole Foods, and culminated in a successful acquisition in late 2022.

In addition to her professional pursuits, Melani is deeply involved in the startup community. She is a founding member of San Diego Startup Week, a board member of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, and contributes her skills as a volunteer adaptive snowboard instructor at Achieve Tahoe. Her passion for the outdoors is evident, as she is AIARE 1 Avalanche Certified and enjoys backcountry mountain biking and snowboarding in the Sierra Nevadas.
