Heather Bandy

Heather is a yoga teacher whose practice began in the 1990s while seeking relief from a herniated disc, discovering yoga as a path to both physical healing and emotional grounding. After moving from Seattle to Los Angeles, she completed her first 200-hour teacher training at City Yoga and went on to teach and assist in teacher trainings there. Returning to Seattle in 2012, she deepened her practice by completing a 500-hour training with Eight Limbs Yoga, continuing her exploration of how yoga integrates into everyday life. Her teaching is rooted in compassion and individuality, helping students discover their unique strengths and align poses in ways that honor their own bodies. Her classes emphasize slow, intentional movement, mindful progression, breathwork, and meditation, supporting presence, clarity, and connection both on and off the mat.
