Damon Meuli

D'mon is a tattoo artist with over 21 years of experience, having worked with clients from diverse cultures and backgrounds, including figures in music, film, and television. Born and raised in New Zealand, he has owned studios in both New Zealand and Australia before most recently opening Obsidian LA. He apprenticed under the late Phil Mathias, an experience that helped shape his commitment to authentic expression and unconventional thought. Known as The Architect, his work moves beyond surface aesthetics to interpret clients’ personal myths through deeply collaborative artistic processes. Grounded in an intuitive understanding of the connection between mind, body, and spirit, his art translates subtle inner narratives into meaningful, lasting form.
